This Story Map was used as a program to “list” the names of student reporters and to pinpoint their hometowns during the closing ceremony for the Howard University Multicultural Media Academy. It worked nicely to zoom in on reporters as they introduced themselves.
This two-week health journalism “boot camp” is one of roughly a dozen U.S. programs sponsored by the Dow Jones News Fund with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Craig Newmark Philanthropies.
